Two week fasting diet for detoxification and

The first day is cleansing day
Cleanse your digestive system with a laxative.
After the cleansing you can start on the Almased Wellness Food. (It is best
to do your cleansing in the evening so you can start your fast upon waking the
next day)
Calculate Amount Needed
Divide your target weight (the weight in pounds
you would like to achieve) by 5. The resulting number is the daily amount of
teaspoons of Almased that you will split into 3 to 4 "meals" every
day. In other words: If you want to weigh 130 lbs., you would take a total of 26
teaspoons of Almased each day, or 4 "meals" of 6 1/2 teaspoons each.
(130/5 = 26, 26/4 = 6.5 teaspoons)
Mix the calculated amount of teaspoons of Almased
with cool or lukewarm liquid by putting the Almased into the glass first and
then adding the liquid. More liquid makes a thinner shake, less liquid
makes a thicker shake, as you prefer. You should eat unsalted vegetable broth
with or between your Almased "meals". Remember to drink up to 3 quarts
of liquid (water, tea or similar) every day. You may continue the use of vitamin
and mineral supplements (preferably in liquid form). If you experience some
muscle pain or headache after a few days, it will be most likely caused by
"free radicals" dissolved by the diet, also known as detoxification.
You can speed the process by using a Vitamin C supplement and increasing your
water intake.

dieting success!!!!
If you have a very large amount of weight to lose
and would like to do the diet more than once, you should do the turbo diet in
two-week intervals only, with at least 4 weeks between fasts. During the
four-week break you can still have one to two meal replacements per day of the
Almased Wellness Food (with a third balanced nutritional meal) to continue your
weight loss regime.
Ending the fast. Beginning maintenance
You can go off of the fast by having an apple for
breakfast then a light lunch of soup or salad and a light dinner. You should eat
lightly the first day after the fast to allow your digestive system to readjust
to solid food or you might become constipated. Your body should be ready
for regular eating by the second day. You should begin your maintenance program
at this time by adding about 3 teaspoons of Almased to your daily routine.
The Almased powder can be mixed into yogurt, salad dressing, or drink of your
choice. A few teaspoons more can give you a boost at times of high stress or
intense activity.
Maintenance Tips
It is up to you to maintain your weight loss by
continuing to eat healthy low calorie meals and getting plenty of exercise.
You can also aid this maintenance with continued use of Almased. You
should try to incorporate approximately 9 teaspoons of Almased Wellness Food
into your diet per day; you can do this as a single meal replacement (like a
breakfast shake) or spread through out the day (a few teaspoons with each meal).
Be careful with fruit, because the body will tend to turn any from of sugar into
fat (this is especially true for women). Women should consume up to 600 calories
daily in addition to the Almased, men up to 1,000 calories plus Almased. Once
you have reached your target weight, women should not consume over 1,500
calories plus Almased, and men 2,000 calories plus Almased. Since women
have a lower daily requirement for calories many have found it helpful to
continue with one meal replacement per day in order to reduce the overall
calorie intake and maintain their ideal weight.
Liquids
While on the turbo diet best results will be
obtained when using water with the Almased powder. The amount of water used is
determined by your preference, a thick shake needs little water while a thinner
one uses more. Since it is the goal of the turbo diet to detoxify your
body as well as to facilitate weight loss, more water is preferable and you
should try to stick with it for at least the first 3-4 days. It is
possible to use other liquids with your Almased as long as you avoid sugar,
carbohydrates and carbonation. Some dieters like to use Crystal Lite or
DIET V-8 Splash with their Almased. You may also mix the powder in (cool) coffee
or tea but we recommend against caffeine beverages. While this will not
necessarily inhibit weight lose but it will keep you from detoxifying. You may
also mix your Almased with your veggie broth but make sure to cool the broth
first. You should NEVER mix your Almased in anything hot, as it will
destroy the enzymes in the product.
